ABOUT DIVIDEND THEORY
Better questions. Clearer research.
We help curious investors understand the business behind the stock, the cash behind the dividend, and the assumptions behind the valuation.
What we are building
Dividend Theory is a finance-media brand operated by Dividend Theory LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. We focus on company research and financial education, producing long-form investment explainers and short lessons about business fundamentals, cash flow, capital allocation, valuation, and risk.
Our aim is to make the reasoning easier to examine, not to tell every reader which stock to buy. A useful analysis should help you understand both the investment case and the reasons it could be wrong.
Our editorial standard
Start with evidence. Prioritize company filings, financial statements, earnings materials, and other primary sources. Identify the reporting period and the date of market-sensitive information.
Separate facts from assumptions. Label our calculations and scenarios. Explain what a valuation depends on rather than presenting a model output as a guaranteed future price.
Challenge the thesis. Include material risks, counterarguments, and circumstances that would change the conclusion. Historical performance and a confident narrative are not substitutes for evidence.
Review before publication. The intended workflow moves research through editing and quality-control review before publishing. Material holdings, compensation, and other relevant conflicts belong with the affected content.
How we use AI
AI tools assist with research organization, drafting, analysis, editing, narration, and production. Their output can be incomplete or wrong. Our editorial policy requires checking material claims and calculations against the underlying evidence; using multiple AI tools does not by itself establish accuracy.
Dividend Theory remains responsible for the content it publishes. AI assistance does not create professional credentials or turn general financial education into personalized advice.
Corrections and updates
Found a possible error? Email the page or video title, the relevant passage or timestamp, and a supporting source when available. We review credible correction requests. When a material error is confirmed, our policy is to correct the affected content and explain the substantive change where readers or viewers can find it.
Research is dated, not continuously updated. Older articles and videos may not reflect subsequent events, revised estimates, or current prices.
